- "I was massively overcharged by Leaky Busters. To simply replace a shower cartridge, I was charged $500. The cartridge itself costs only $130 and the labour was quoted at $320 — that adds up to $450, yet I was billed $500. When I asked the plumber to explain the extra $50, he couldn't give me any answer. His only response was to offer a 10% discount, which doesn't address the fact that the charge was never justified in the first place. I don't recommend them — be sure to get an itemized breakdown before agreeing to any work."
